Ever look back at your first/early sims?

I looked back at my early sims a few months ago and deleted them from my photobucket because I wanted the bandwidth to go down. I still have them on a cd somewhere, might see if I can find them and show some on here. My first sims were horrible and my picture taking was even worse.

Mine are definitly most painful... lol Should I just SKIP the whole horrible graphics card phase for everyones sake? Either way prepare for bleeding eye balls.

Back in the day

This was Dakota... I was dead set on naming my first child dakota but after looking at these pictures... I'm never ever considering that.

I nicknamed him Goldielocks :rabbit:

These aren't too bad but my graphics weren't too great.
I actually made some pretty good looking sims using just Maxis skins and custom clothes, make up, etc... I know I made some horrible sims but i don't have any pictures unfortunately.

These are the oldest sim pictures I have. I used to have more, but I lost them the first time my game crashed.

Looking at these now, they actually aren't so bad. Though I've gotten away from making all of my sims look so similar.

Like here is my very first sim self and imaginary sim boyfriend pretending to be mad scientists.



And some Vortas from star trek. This was the very first skintone I ever made, and am still somewhat pleased with the outcome.

Hmm... I thought I had posted in this thread again, but then I realized it was in the "Picture Perfect" chat thread.  :lol:  You think my first set of old pics were it and "okay"... guess what I found?

And more below.  I had/have a scary graphics card, that's for sure... I could never bring myself to go back playing on my home PC anymore.  :shock:

Sorry for bumping the thread, I just wanted to reply. :3

My first sims were TERRIBLE. They were like townies with non-ugly faces. I didn't have ANY downloaded or made objects until a couple years of playing all maxis sims. It was okay..but it's MUCH MUCH better now.

I just used the base face templates for my older sims.
But for my newer sims, they're really awesome! LOL!
