Yes, but when I downloaded the recolors the hat didn't show up, so BlooM suggested downloading this on to see what happened.

If the hat doesn't show there's just one explanation, theres another mesh conflicting.
Wat you can try is make a new defaults folder in the sims2 directory(not in the downloadfolder) and put the file in there.
The game will read it first and hopefully will neglect other replacements

You know I love all your creations and just spotted this one.
Once SimPE catches up with FT I'll recolour a few of these.
Thank you for this, now my sim babies will have something decent to wear

you don't need an update to recolor them. as long as you don't try recoloring things that came with FT, it still works. I'm still using the BV version, even though I've got FT. if you go to guest recolors, you'l find a lot of recolors already made
