It's a convention for just about any kind Sci Fi and Fantasy books, TV shows, movies, etc. It's usually held in US once a year.

I was going to go to Dragon*Con this year, but ended up not being able to afford the plane fare or the hotel. *pouts* It really sucked when I got my program in the mail.

Yep, it's every Labor Day weekend in Atlanta. This year the reunion of Leonard Nimoy abnd William Shatner was apparently a huge success. SRO for that one. They have a web site http://www.dragoncon.org/ if you are interested.
