Surgery? Please help?

I know this has nothing to do with Apartment Life, but it's my latest expansion pack, so I posted it here anyways. Move it if it's not allowed, please.

I was wondering, with the career reward objects that comes with University, if I give a really ugly sim surgery, when she has a child, will her child get her old, ugly genetics or her new, better ones?

Sim Surgery is not genetic, unless you make it so using SimPE. So the child will inherit the mother's original face as this is still her genetic face.
