no autonomous reading or writing in diary New Version Available(4/28/06)

Has anybody had a problem with this hack causing Sims not to be able to read in bed even when you tell them to?  That's happening to me and I suspect this hack might be the cause.  I hope not, but I'm going to take it out and see if it helps.

Yes & thank you:) because if you didn't tell me it still would be causing problems for people; I can't believe it's been downloaded & nobody including myself had noticed it before.

according to the hack conflict detector this is incompatable with the nobabyharassment hack. I'm not sure why or what might be conflicting because I have no idea how mods really work. Just letting you know, maybe you could figure out if there really is a conflict or not.

edit: I just checked the file and it's with the read to test so it may not be that serious, did you have any problems in your game while using these 2 mods together?

I might have had a problem with the game loading lots, it seems to have froze, I'll put the two mods in alone and test it and then I'll let you know if thats what was causing it

Lots load fine but it seems that my sims still can't let go of reading books on their own, I guess they just like it that much

I also have the conflict with the nobabyharassment and the noreading/writing in diary.

Basically the issues I seem to have are that kids will still bug to be read to/get read. Adults do not autonomously read anymore, but children do. I haven't noticed teenagers doing it.

You could try renaming this mod so the first letter is a "z" then it should use the code from my mod instead of the nobabyharassment mod it may or may not work but it does for Inteen conflicts so it's worth a try
