Dave and his kids taking a Sunday walk together.
Toby is hugging the tree, June does some stretching, while Dave is making sure little Alyssa don't run away.

There will be an update soon, but in the mean time - Two cutie-pies  Grin
(Not sure if they are twins, though - I wanted to do a pic showing the girl only outfit, but my test family got 4 boys first...  Headwall)

(Double post... I know...)

Anyway - here is what has been eating my motivation and triggered my inspiration the past couple of days. You know the "Angelwatch" hospital I uploaded, the one which was a re-do of the "Veronaville hospital"? Well...

Veronaville

Angelwatch
(the version I uploaded - I had another version with more CC, too - but they looked much the same)

New and improved Angelwatch Grin

Still not done, though. Lots on the inside left, plus I want to make my own versions of the blue signs you see (they're from a hospital I downloaded, which I really liked - but there was too much to fix on it, and not everything was good for photoshoots) - but it's already tons better than the originals.
I bulldozed the parking lot, built an ambulance garage, and another three huge rooms on top. One of them is a bedpost, the other two I've not decided yet. If I want, I can also build more on top of that. The parking lot only has three spaces now, one reserved for handicap parking. The empty space on the right side, where there was only windows before, is now a flower/bush bed, and a bus stop will come in just in front of it.

Building lots isn't usually my favorite thing to do, and I usually do it quite simple (I like interior better - but keep it simple and practical, and in style with the ones who live on the lot). But I do feel that this might be the best lot I've ever made. I don't have the heart to start over again on a new lot (which I originally planned), because... well... I already love it  Grin

So... what do you think?

I'll probably not upload it, though - as it is already getting quite stuffed with CC. Even my computer is complaining a bit (starting to beg for mercy, really), and I've not even put sims into it yet...

But mroe pics to come when I've done some mroe interior, and maybe some playtesting (aka. probably the funniest photoshoot I've ever done Grin).

I kept most of the shape, but it's the interior and the outer walls + windows that has changed most. Still have a couple of rooms left to fix, but I think I've got all the rooms I'll ever need now... and if I need more, it's easy to build up (which it wasn't before, because of an elevator that was misplaced - it's still there, but there is one on the other side too).

And the layout is much better. I've kept most from the 2nd edition, but added a lot more.

First floor is ambulance garage (and a parking lot with room for 3 cars), reception, ER, nurses' break room, patient wards (CCU, isolation...), doctor's office, chapel, gift shop, and a few more things.
Second floor is maternity, pediatrics (NICU, wards for toddlers and children/PICU, nursery, play room) and café.
Third floor is radiology (X-ray, possibly CT if I ever finish the new meshes, radiation), MRI, dialysis, lab, pharmacy, surgery (+ PACU and scrub room). Plus an extra PICU unit for toddlers, and a small classroom for medical students.
Fourth floor is trauma and ICU, ER, plus air reception, and a kitchen for employees (between the helicopter and the flag).
The final floor is for employees (beds, entertainment/break room, showers and toilets).

Also working on some new meshes, which will definitely be put in as soon as I'm done with them - new CT, X-ray, surgery table (with patient/surgeon/nurse poses, if I ever learn to make poseboxes), Infant warmer bed (bed with a warming lamp and/or Bili light against jaundice - will try to make it a real infant bed, but can't promise that - and maybe with the light working, if I figure out how...), and planning to make a fluoroscope and mobile X-ray.

Having fun, in other words  Grin

Thanks Smiley

I'm not that very skilled with building houses (I tend to download pretty houses with little CC, and then clutter them myself), but when it comes to hospitals I think I may have some skill... watched too many hospital series, and way too inspired by LFB, probably... blush

At the moment I'm recreating the isolation unit (I added yet another floor). A bit difficult since I have to go back to the desktop every time I'm unsure of something... but it's nearly done. I even added in a handicap-friendly bathroom to Lily's room, which was lacking from the original version. And now there is actually something behind the white outer door in the unit. Before, the white door just lead to the roof  rolleyes. Not yet decided what to do with those extra rooms, though. Hmm... Maybe a special unit for testing, for the isolation patients. That's an idea...

I'm considering to make a small series from the hospital, called "Angel Watch" - either cartoon or as short chapters where the different characters tells a little story about the daily life in the hospital (for patients, family, nurses and doctors) every chapter. Maybe bringing in some characters like Emerson, Adler, Jenna (as a minor character), Celina, Jeremy (Celina's son - the paramedic in chapter 1), Molly, Beatrice (Jenna's boss), Terry (Aidan's neurologist), and maybe some more. It won't be much related to LFB, but some characters might pop up once in a while. Maybe I'll bring in Aidan a couple of times, from when he was a toddler or younger child. Would be a great way to get out some of the ideas I haven't managed to fit into LFB.
Could be fun  Grin

I like the isolation exam room! *wants to work on my hospital*

I like the idea for "Angel Watch" that sounds really cool. As for adding in Aidan in, I say WOOOOHOO~ ahaha. Aidan had a nuerologist? Wouldn't he have a cardiologist?

Celina, of course Wink
She does all the surgeries, and most of the testing on him. And she is Jenna's friend, too (they got to know each other when Tony needed that heart surgery when he was born).

Terry is one of the MD specialists on the hospital (Neurology includes neuromuscular disorders, like DMD).

While I'm uploading LFB pics... How about hospital pics?

There are nearly 70 pics, and I've not even photographed all the rooms yet. So it's big. Very big.
The best part?
Most of the rooms already exist in the more recent version of the hospital I uploaded. It's the same lot, so it shouldn't be too hard to change. I added top-down views, so if you want to, feel free to do similar changes.

Exterior

Bus stop

Small park

Entrance (those signs are subjects to change - needs correct names...)

Toddler/baby ICU (2 beds)

Neonatal ICU (NICU)
