When my father was alive he had an empty cigar box of pills that he had to take,I said to myself if Dad ahad anymore Pills he would have to take a pill to take his other pills

That happens alot.  I've had medicines that had to have other medicines to counter the effects that had to have other medicines to counter the effects of those medicines...<----insert nausea here

Main reason why I avoid medicine...unless its vitamins or over the counter headache relief.

I'm the same way. Oddly, fake grape flavour doesn't bother me, but it makes both my husband and my son run for the spew bucket.

I don't think anything can gross out my husband...except health food of any kind.
My husband and son love the artificial bubblegum flavor in a bunch of other medicines.

I blame my kids for causing me to say "you know when I was little I'd have been grateful for grape or bubble gum-flavored medicine—you don't want to know what the medicines we had to take tasted like...."  They despise dimetapp. *scoffs* Try castor oil ya little monsters .

At least they don't have to mix the powdered penicillin with water like I had to. The taste of that stuff almost killed me, let alone the fact that I turned out allergic to it! I thank an over-eager doctor for that allergy because that was his remedy for everything. Sore throat? Bladder infection? Ear infection? Throw some penicillin at it, that'll get rid of it! He had to be reminded each and every time that I'm allergic and for some stupid reason my parents kept taking me back to him...

My grandma got me to go to this moron doctor once. She was a quack and tried to give me pills for a whole bunch of stuff that I didn't even have. She didn't even run any tests, but she said that I had infections, and maybe hepatitus (just because I had tattoos). So of course, I quickly left that place and never went back. But my dumb grandma still thinks she's a good doctor.
The one in my old town was the only doctor around (the town doc), and he was also one of those people that made things seem worse than they were. He tried to say my mother-in-law was dying of radiation poisoning (she drank ground water like I did, and we both got poisoned by pesticides, not radiation). He tried to give me a head exam and said I was 'homicidal" and gave both me and my brother medicines that made us puke our guts out. My mom still thinks he's smart.

Honestly, why do parents think that just because a person is a doctor, means he/she is a GOOD doctor? I mean, 2 years ago, the hospital out here, and a clinic in Vegas where reusing needles on patients. My mother-in-law (supposedly) got hepatitus (the treatable one) from it. She didn't know and she spread it to my husband's stepdad and it almost killed him.
