So, I guess you've all noticed that there's a glaring lack of a nice picture at the top of the page

here's your chance to change that

We need a banner and we need YOU to design it Cheesy

It must be no larger than 950x150

It should be Sims 2 related (obviously!) but should also show the spirit of this site's community

It must be PG-13 - any not suitable will be removed

Ideally it should showcase some of the wonderful creations offered here

There is no real set colour scheme so the world is your oyster (although something that you don't need to use eye bleach after looking at would be best!)

You've got till next Saturday (31st Jan) to get your entries. On 1st Feb we'll throw it open to a community vote. Once the top 3 have been chosen by the community the staff will then vote to pick the final winner from those 3

And now ... it's over to you ... let's see what you can come up with  Cheesy

wow, until I listed them all, I didn't realise how many there were!!

Thanks everyone, they're all great, now it's over to the community to vote. I'll leave the poll open until Thursday evening (my time - GMT) then the staff will have a few days to pick the final winner

EDIT 08.02.09:

After much deliberation and thankful that we only had 3 to choose from - Ninata, Adeline and Amun-Ra -  the winner of the banner contest is Amun-Ra

It was a close thing for us, each of the 3 only separated by a single vote. We absolutely love Ninata's banner but felt that it would be more suited to a special theme so we will be using it for Halloween this year and would like to invite Adeline to design a banner that we can use at Easter

Joy came up with a great idea of having a contest to design a banner for special occassions, so watch this section for the next one!

Here are my first two:





There is only a slight difference between the two. The first one just says "Insimenator" on it, the second has ".org".


I have a few more ideas that are a little more plain. Hopefully I can get to those before the 31st!  Wink
